Cassette Beasts takes place in a very familiar type of battle for players. These are monsters that are 'captured' to fight for their masters. But this game does it in a much more bizarre way. Players will come to New Wirral, a place very isolated from the mainland. But if you explore it, you will feel the land is unexpectedly vast. The way to fight is also extremely unique. When you see a monster in the wild, record it. After storing the image of the monster in a cassette tape, you can use its power. The player's journey will be extremely arduous when having to confront many different opponents.

TURN INTO MONSTERS WITH CASSETTE TAPES

When you start playing a cassette tape, you change into the monster recorded on it. This is an easy way to transform. Your fight with your opponent stays the same because it’s a battle of special abilities. How you face your opponent depends on whether you can figure out how they fight.

• Cool Transformations: Any monster on the tape can be used. You can change into that monster and use its powers, but you'll need a lot of practice to master them.
• Strategic Battles: Battles are not easy. Your opponents are very strong, so you need to be able to use different powers.
• Nostalgic Experience: Using a cassette player brings back old memories. The game mixes classic and modern styles.

COMBINE MONSTER FORMS FOR COOL COMBOS

The interesting part is that these recorded monsters are not real monsters; they are just powers shown on the tape. To create a powerful new ability, you can play two recordings at once.
